Precautions For Installation of Underwater Light

Precautions For Installation of Underwater Light

Underwater light also is marine led lights.

Features of Led Underwater Light

Underwater light, current products that combine technology and life.

Underwater lighting, installed under the bottom of the water, must bear a certain amount of pressure.

Led underwater lights, small and delicate in appearance, beautiful and generous, have been used in major industries and projects.

All imported 1W Leds are used as light sources, which have significant advantages such as long life, low power consumption, pure color, and no pollution.

It is widely used in square fountains, swimming pools, Olympic water cubes, boats, yachts, etc.

So, how to install such a high-tech underwater light? What should we pay attention to?

Installation Steps

1. Fix the lamp firmly first

2. Then connect the lead wire of the lamp to the power connection of the corresponding voltage level.

3. After the connection is completed, seal and insulate the power connector.

4. After the connection is completed and checked, turn on the power and the lamp can work.

Precautions

1. Configure a suitable transformer according to the total power of the Led underwater light

Generally speaking, the utilization rate of the transformer is 75% more suitable, that is, the 100W transformer drives the lamps of no more than 75W. Pay attention to the incoming and outgoing wires of the transformer.

2. The distance between the transformer and the lamp

Due to the resistance of the wire itself, a part of the voltage will be distributed, resulting in the voltage of the remote underwater lamp being less than 12V. Therefore, the distance between the underwater light and the transformer outlet should not be too far. If the distance is too far, the number of transformers can be increased.

3. Do a good job of waterproofing

Do a good job of waterproofing the connection between the power supply and the transformer, and the transformer and the underwater light – use a waterproof junction box and sealant.

4. The safest way in theory

To put the high-voltage (220V) part outside the water surface, and the low-voltage part can be placed in the water

5. It should be powered by a DC constant current power supply.

Under the control of constant current power supply, the forward voltage drop of the lamp will decrease as the temperature of the LED chip increases, which does not have much impact on the LED underwater lamp.

However, if it is driven by constant voltage, the current of the lamp chip will continue to increase as the temperature rises, and in severe cases, the LED underwater lamp may even be burned.

Therefore, the Led underwater lights should be powered by a DC constant current power supply.

Due to the particularity of the application of the led underwater light, it is an electrical product that works underwater, so it has special requirements for its technical indicators.

When we carry out installation and construction, we must do the safety and insulation treatment of underwater lights.

In the selection process of underwater lights, we must pay attention to the production quality of marine led lights and its own technical indicators.

Not only should it be considered dustproof and waterproof, but also its safety function, lighting function, appearance and shell material should be carefully considered.

RM Security has been committed to producing high-quality, cost-effective and good service products to every user.
